Who is Migration Digital Strategy?

What does MDS do?

Migration Digital Strategy is a strategic consultation company serving businesses in the areas of search engine optimization, search engine marketing, paid and organic social media, website performance reporting, insights analysis, and other digital tactics and strategies.

Early on it was clear that my clients were looking to attract the new customers who actually MATTERED to their business objectives. This is where MDS came in – helping those businesses attract and communicate with the RIGHT clientele, monitoring how they were interacting, and optimizing their digital strategy to suit their organizational goals.

Watching a business achieve their goals and grow their client base is extremely rewarding, and early on, it was the driving factor for expanding MDS.

How did MDS happen?

MDS is owned and operated by the author of this blog post – Trevor Grigsby. In 2021, I was encouraged by a friend of a friend to create a startup to provide guidance on things like SEO, SEM, social media campaigns, and so on. Over time, through networking and referrals alone, I began to add new clients and additional services to my repertoire.

Today, MDS proudly provides services to clients in multiple locations in the United States and internationally in the United Kingdom.

When I look at the horizon line from where MDS now stands, I see a world of opportunity and collaboration in an exciting, ever-changing industry.

Who’s in charge at MDS?

Allow myself to introduce... myself.

After a number of years in broadcasting, I began my marketing journey in 2009 as a marketing assistant. I quickly realized I had a knack for digital and tech, so I focused my growth on website development, SEO, and social media. In 2012 I became a social media lead, followed by a paid social strategist and organic content creator. For several years, I managed a team of individuals in charge of curating content for a major membership organization in the United States.

I continued to work in the digital marketing space as a strategist, project manager, collaborator, presenter, and facilitator. As mentioned, I went all in on digital consultation in 2021 and formed MDS as a way to help businesses optimize their digital business strategies and maximize their time spent on acquiring and converting valuable customer leads.

In my experience, I’ve found that the foundation for a successful digital marketing strategy lies in identifying, nurturing, and creating value from the customer journey.


Targeting consumers where they spend their time, where they interact, and where they eventually make a purchase is imperative. Identifying the customer journey allows us to see how consumers show interest, how and how often they purchase, and what it takes to retain their business and turn them into an advocate for our brand.

Easier said than done, right? We’ll dig more into that in future blog posts.

More importantly than all of the above, I am a Christ follower, a husband, and a father of three, and I am continuously grateful that God has seen fit to bless me so abundantly.

I love to travel (hence the name, Migration), I love to eat amazing food, and I love supporting my amazing family on all of their adventures.
